If there's one thing to know about me; it's that I am passionate about everything!
Especially telling stories; I've been an avid writer since the moment I could pick up a pencil. I never go anywhere without a journal, or at least a notepad. I constantly write about things that inspire me! Poetry, fantasy novels, short stories, you name it! I am very grateful for the wonderful English teachers that pushed me to be better.
I was also fascinated by cameras in my childhood. Especially my grandfather's collection. Some of the most memorable things for me were our family photos. Grandpa would set up the camera on the tripod, and we'd all squish together beside a Christmas tree or in the backyard. He'd set the timer that started the flashing yellow-orange light, run back to us, and we'd all say "cheese" as the shutter clicked. It mesmerized me! My father took a lot of photos as well, and going through them made it clear to me how important photos are for preserving memories.
I played around with the small digital cameras that my parents had, and took pictures of the world as I saw it- flowers, clouds, family. Before I had my own camera, I took one of my parent's cameras to visit family in Poland, and took photos of absolutely everything! Seeing how ardent I was, my parents bought me a Canon T6i the following Christmas.
I started taking pictures of anything and everything, and eventually found my rhythm in wildlife and event photography. After years of honing my skills with the T6i, I finally upgraded to my dream camera, the Canon R5, and I took photography on as my job.
And now here we are in the present day!
My love for these things was nurtured by countless people that God put in my life, and I seriously could not thank any of them enough.
If I could give one piece of advice to someone reading this- don't limit yourself if you want to learn things! Learn it all, and remember that it's not hard, it's new. :)
